Dopamine is a neurotransmitter in the brain that is associated with pleasure. Think about your favorite activity. Engaging in that activity is likely to increase levels of dopamine in your brain.

The best way to hack your dopamine levels is through diet and exercise. But holidays are coming up and exercise is hard.

If diet and exercise are out of the question, here are some quick dopamine hacks.

Listen to Your Favorite Song

A clinical study found that dopamine levels increase when listening to music that is chill-inducing. In fact, the researchers found that dopamine levels were nine percent higher in the study group than the placebo group. Do not put on a song you like, put on a song you love. Play a song that gives you goosebumps and feel your dopamine increase.
